TML’s Role: Rent-to-Own Housing Program

TML leads the wānanga, registration, and onboarding process for the Rent-to-Own housing initiative. Facilitating on behalf of 100YPT, TML collaborates with iwi, hapū, whānau, Pasifika communities, government agencies, NGOs, investors, supply chains, and private businesses to ensure a smooth journey for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating Wānanga: Hosting educational and support sessions for participants.

  • Registration & Onboarding: Managing the expression of interest, registration, and pricing processes with transparency and participant alignment.

  • Community Engagement: Building partnerships and maintaining strong communication channels to address challenges and provide tailored support.

  • Data Management: TML leads in creating and maintaining three key databases:

  1. Pipeline of Clients: A centralised system tracking all interested participants.

  2. Approved Māori and Pasifika Construction and Infrastructure Experts: A growing network of skilled individuals specialising in building, construction, and infrastructure.

  3. Accessing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): A focused database connecting funding opportunities to community projects.

By fostering these connections and partnerships, TML equips whānau with the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to achieve their housing and community goals.
